If you follow my blog, you will notice that I haven’t posted in a couple of days. Now, you might say, a couple of days is not that long, but for me it’s too long.
The main reason for me not updating my blog is because of my time of reflection. Yes, reflection time again!
With today’s economy not doing very well, I have been thinking and praying about what exactly God wants me to do. What is my role in this life He has given me? And, have I been living my life to glorify Him?
If you’ve been here before you may notice a change. Yes, my look is different yet again, but I think I’ll keep this look for the time being. This is all part of my latest project. I have been on an organization mission.
It all began in my private office. It was once my jewelry studio and it is now slowly transforming into my library. It is amazing how many books one person can accumulate. I literally can have people come into my ‘new library’ when it’s finished of course, and check out books. I have books on Faith, Marketing, Children, Parenting, Health, Nutrition, Chiropractic, Fiction, Non-Fiction, Decorating, Jewelry Making, and of course Homeschooling.
Amazing how time flies!! Can you believe that Christmas is right around the corner? Crazy, I know!!
Well, I had a rather productive week, this week and it’s all due to my organization skills that I have put into play. It’s nothing special, really, just a handy notepad and pen. I have found that if I write all my projects down, I will actually get them accomplished. Imagine that?
This week I am glad to say was not as busy as last week. To some it may seem busy but I love to keep myself busy at all times, I am a bit obsessive.
This week I finished working on some wonderful articles for a client and am ready for more..
I was quite busy, adding posts to Moms In A Blog that actually launched this week.
Okay, so a dear friend started this blog meme, and I thought I would join in..
I will share my exciting week in this post and all the accomplishments I had as well. First off I want to start by thanking Carrie Lauth for doing a review of my blogs. She reviewed this blog and Healthy Nutrition Hints. Because of her wonderful advice, I restructured my blogs and the way they look. Thanks again, Carrie.
I have been doing a lot of thinking lately and don’t know if it’s a good thing or a bad thing, but am hoping and praying that I am making the right choices. I feel like I am in the clouds most of the time.
I don’t know if you have read my previous posts about my past but it has not been an easy road. But, I would imagine everyone has skeletons in their closet to an extent. However, I have been doing a lot of soul searching and feel that the Lord is leading me down a certain path. Now, I have not been one to always listen to reasoning, guess it’s the rebel in me. But, I have had to deal with a lot of trials and tribulations in my life and now feel that there is a purpose and reason for it all.
Being a busy mom of 5 children it seems very difficult to find ‘mommy’ time, but when I do there are several things I like to do. I love to read, because I am basically a NERD!! I would rather lay in bed in my comfy p.j.’s and read a good book.
When I am not reading and feeling more creative I love to design and make jewelry. I have actually been playing with beads for almost 10 years. I started with just beads, then slowly progressed to wire work and precious metal clay. I used to have a small corner in my bedroom, until I almost burned the house down!! So, my hubby decided to take an empty, storage room from our office and converted it into my own little studio.
Yes, I know that I mentioned earlier about unloading my overflowing plate, but I truly think this will be beneficial to me.
I love to write and I have decided to offer my services. I will be developing a website to promote my services and will post here when I have finished it. My articles will be focused around health and nutrition.
As a retired Doctor of Chiropractic, I decided it was time to put all my knowledge down on paper and share with others. I love to educate and writing in forms that are easy to read is what I aim for. I plan to write articles that are easy to understand and a thesaurus or PDR will not be necessary.
