I had an interesting weekend with my hubby. We were able to get away alone for the first time in many, many years and we are so thankful. Although it was not all pleasure it was enjoyable nonetheless.
Aside from the many projects I am involved with we promote some healthy products in our office that we wanted to share with others in our profession. It was interesting to see the reactions when promoting our product because we have been indoctrinated to believe that ‘chocolate‘ although quite delicious it is also unhealthy. However, this particular product is healthy and research has been done to prove it.
Okay, so a dear friend started this blog meme, and I thought I would join in..
I will share my exciting week in this post and all the accomplishments I had as well. First off I want to start by thanking Carrie Lauth for doing a review of my blogs. She reviewed this blog and Healthy Nutrition Hints. Because of her wonderful advice, I restructured my blogs and the way they look. Thanks again, Carrie.
Wow, this weekend has been crazy! It started with my hubby leaving for his annual golf trip with over 20
guys! I’m not much into golf, but he loves it so, it is something he looks forward to every year. A time when they play 2 rounds of golf a day and pretend to be Tiger..they play 2 rounds for 3 days straight and then 1 round the last day.
He will be coming back today and can’t wait to hear all his stories. I actually miss him very much and the kids can’t wait to have their crazy daddy back too.
Wow, it’s great to be home! As much as I love to see family members that we have not seen in it seems like forever, there is no better feeling than being home.
Imagine this, driving in a vehicle, well a suburban, with 5 children for 4 long hours! Yes, you guessed it crazy!! Although we were equipped with DVD player and movies, Ipods, cell phones, and any other electronic gadget you can think of it was still a long trip. We played ‘I-spy’, license plate tag, and sang songs to keep everyone entertained and we slept and complained, stopped for potty breaks and finally arrived at our destination.
