Our First Graduate

by drmommy on May 18, 2009

dscn5533Wow!! Never thought this day would come, but we had our first graduate!  We are so very excited and proud of our child and ourselves.

Home schooling was a venture my husband and I decided to encounter 12 years ago and by the grace of God were we able to maintain our sanity and continue.  We now have 1 graduate and 4 more in the wings.  Never did I think I would be home schooling my children, but the Lord definitely had a different plan for me.

I am very blessed to have the opportunity to school my children at home and monitor closely what they learn.  The adventures are amazing and we always focus on making learning fun.  Some courses are more challenging than others, but nonetheless exciting.

I am excited to see what the future brings and so are my children.  Very excited to see how my oldest child will do in college too.  I am praying that I have instilled the morals and values that will make her a responsible adult, that’s all we can do as parents.

The Chronicles continue…
