It feels like forever since I last wrote on here… but no need to fear I am back!!
I have been very busy promoting my writing services at Dr. Mommy Writes and have gained some wonderful new clients. I love to write and any opportunity I am given to research and write, I go for it!

It’s true! I have amazing online friends and it was more evident this morning. To my surprise I received another awesome award! This one is from a great friend I met on Twitter. Her name is Angela and has a great blog called Unexpected Art . Be sure to visit her blog for some great stories.

Wow!! I was surprised this afternoon with a bloggy award from Alyssa at Life From my Laptop . This award is called ‘I love your Blog’ Award. And I am honored to receive it, but of course there are rules that go along with this award. Here are the rules:

I just heard a great newsclip on swapping for services and it reminded me of the many swaps I have done through out the years. With today’s economy it is a great idea to swap for items you would normally pay for.
There are many online sites for swapping and some sites that offer free items like Freecycle. I have swapped for many items. One Christmas I was able to swap for the majority of my gifts and that was wonderful!
So how do you begin?
- Determine what craft or service you can swap for
I know I may have written about this before, but I feel compelled to write more today.
I am amazed at the changes that continue to occur in my life. Yes, amazement! That alone is remarkable, because in the past I would not have been able to handle any changes. I was very set in my ways and a bit compulsive. Well, I think I am still a bit obsessive and compulsive but in a different direction now.

I will share my exciting week in this post and all the accomplishments I had as well. First off I want to start by thanking Carrie Lauth for doing a review of my blogs.
