Since Thanksgiving is next week, I want to share what I am thankful for.  I am very thankful for everything and everyone in my life.  There are times that are more difficult than others but of course I have realized that is just part of life.

I’m sure I will have many of these moments, but it still a great feeling whenever it happens.  I wanted to share my latest Proud Mama Moment with you.  I attended my daughter’s first piano recital.  She has been taking piano lessons for 6 weeks and was invited to her first recital.  We are extremely proud of her accomplishments and look forward to many more.

Here she is playing in her first of many piano recitals:

Thanks for letting me share this with you..

The Chronicles continue….

I always like to look back at my week to see how productive I was. I keep a notebook with all my projects for the week and check them off as I finish them.

I am happy to report that all my projects listed were checked off. Whew!! That is amazing!!

I had a rather crazy week, but then again my weeks always seem to be adventurous, one way or another.

I was able to accomplish all my projects assigned for this week, as well as some new ones that magically appeared on my list. How did that happen, I wonder?

If you follow my blog, you will notice that I haven’t posted in a couple of days. Now, you might say, a couple of days is not that long, but for me it’s too long.

The main reason for me not updating my blog is because of my time of reflection. Yes, reflection time again!

With today’s economy not doing very well, I have been thinking and praying about what exactly God wants me to do. What is my role in this life He has given me? And, have I been living my life to glorify Him?

It happened and I am not sure if I am thankful or regretful. I understand that we all need to go through a healing process, but does it have to hurt this much?

Reliving my past and all that accompanied it was and is not easy. I know that part of the healing process is to let it all go. I know that God has a plan for me and just hope that I am ready for his works.

My childhood was not one that I can honestly remember but the parts I do remember are not very good. I guess that is God’s way of protecting me from further ‘pain’.

To my surprise, I was tagged again. This time by Alyssa at Life from My Laptop. This meme is about Motherhood Lessons.

What to do: share with us and your readers a lesson that you learned from your own mom, a special mom in your life, or while raising your own children. There’s no right or wrong answers…just lessons that each of us can learn and implement with our own children.

Link your post back to this one, leave a comment below so we can visit and learn from you, and then tag 2-3 other moms to participate.

Although I give thanks on a daily basis, I thought today would be a wonderful day to put all my thanks in writing.

I am thankful for my life. Even though I had a rough upbringing, I am thankful for the opportunity to use those experiences as lessons to be learned. I understand that many may have had it worse, but I am not trying to compare, so I will just say, I am now thankful for all my experiences for I will always remember them and continue to learn from them. I have learned not to question the Lord and although I did it plenty while growing up, I have learned that everything He does is done with a purpose in mind.

I am determined to start this school year much more organized. Some may say that I am already organized but it doesn’t hurt to work a little more on my organizational skills.

So, the first thing I did was to determine what I wanted to accomplish for this month. In order to do that I had to write all my thoughts and goals on paper. After doing that I realized I definitely needed a system in order to accomplish my enormous list.
