I Can Do It!

Yay!! It is a beginning of a New Year and we are bombarded with the weight loss and exercise commercials. Not to mention the abundance of infomercials with the latest and greatest exercise equipment or exercise routine.
Amazing to see all these commercials and watch people rushing to the stores and purchasing exercise equipment because they have decided that this year, they will lose weight or get back in shape.
I have to giggle, because within a 30 days many of those same people will sell their exercise equipment at a yard sale or online. Which is why I don’t make resolutions!
Making resolutions is nonsense, and simply because it does not hold you accountable. Instead I have goals and not only in my head. I have written them down and have them posted where I can see them on a daily basis.
I love the feeling I get when I can cross something off my list of goals, because I have accomplished it. My motto for this and every year is this: ‘I can do everything through Him who gives me strength’ – Philippians 4:13
I know and have also taught my children that nothing is possible without first having faith. It is only through this that you can have the power and strength to accomplish your goals. That is how we believe and because of this we have lived happier and more fulfilling lives. We may never be wealthy in assets but we are wealthy in other ways that are much more worthy.
I have written two different set of goals. I have goals for my personal/family life and goals for my business. I pray that I can live long enough to pursue my goals and will not be disappointed if they are not all completed. As long as I work towards them and not give up, I know that I have accomplished something and shown my children a huge lesson as well. Determination and willpower will get my goals accomplished:)
I have vowed to do it! I can do it, can you?
