Thank you for the tip: “Honey, this behavior is not acceptable … you have to change your heart!” I feel like I have tried everything in the book and nothing seems to work. I have a 7 year old and an almost 6 year old and I feel so frustrated by thier behavior that it brings me to tears. Seperated they are manageable, it’s when they are together they seem to compete who can be more defiant, who can ignore Mommy the longest, who can make the most noise. My 7 year old is definately the ring leader and my little one simplely tries to be as bad or badder. The last two days my oldest was in time out 4 times, was punished tonight and tomorrow for not listening and behaving badly toward others. I have tried being soft spoke, yelling, pleading, etc. I pray this works! I am hopeful.

      Hi Emily,
I completely understand, remember I am a mom to 5, ages 6 to 18. If you would like a free 30 minute consult, I am available..just email me at info@retroparenting.com I have dealt with the same issues and that is definitely unacceptable behavior.
