National Child Health Day

Children — By Dr. Mommy on October 6, 2008 at 9:30 am

Did you know that today is National Child Health Day?

What does that mean exactly?

Well, as adults we should be concerned with our child’s health. It is important to be aware of the illnesses lurking and the many ways we can prevent them. It is not wise to wait for a symptom to arise. By focusing on their health, nutrition and overall well being, we can prevent the many illnesses.

Coming from an alternative medical background I feel the need to educate not only our patients but our families and friends as well. It is very important to understand the many alternative methods to approach the health of a child and of your family as a whole. That is a major responsibility that we as parents must have in dealing with the livelihood of our children.

As adults we must teach our children and keep them safe. Children are precious gifts to us and we, as adults must commit to helping them realize their full potential.

Take this day and make it extra special for a child in your life. Show them that you care and love them. Tell them how special they are and how they will grow up to more special adults. They are our future and our legacy, make it a wonderful one.

The Chronicles continue…..
