My First of Many…..

This is the first of many entries, I am quite sure…

I have a wonderful life… it is very busy but that’s what makes it interesting…

Although I went to school and had all the aspirations of becoming a professional woman, all that changed when I met the love of my life.

Now, don’t misunderstand, he is not the reason for all the changes, but he is a big part of it.

We met in grad school and both had goals and dreams of working together and having a wonderful successful practice. Well, we still work together and have a great practice, but I do not have the position I dreamed about.

All my life I wanted to be successful and have a career, or so I thought. I had the career, but my life drastically changed when I became a mommy..

Now, I am not saying that you can’t be a mommy and have a successful career, because I did for a short time. I realized that after having 3 children, that I have to re-evaluate the situation… After much praying and soul searching, I knew that I had to make a decision that would change my life forever…

All my dreams and goals didn’t matter anymore, because my family was and is more important, so I decided to put my career aside and devote my time to my family, which has grown to 5 children….

And, hence the Dr. Mommy chronicles begin….
